FlexKnot materials were designed specifically for mining applications. It utilizes smaller wire gages (lighter) and incorporate higher tensile strength wires to enhance product performance. Increases in stiffness and load carrying characteristics with lighter weight materials. This relates directly to ease of installation and final product performance as illustrated in both laboratory and underground applications. Surface control can be critical to protecting underground workers and the ease of use and subsequent performance are important characteristics to encourage its use.

The FlexKnot material is superior in performance in deflection, load bearing capacity and stiffness - categories that are critical to effective surface control. Additionally, the material is coated to minimize corrosion and can be supplied in various widths and lengths to ensure adequate coverage, minimize the waste of unnecessary overlap, and ease installation.
